Please join us for a lunchtime discussion with Kerry McKenzie, Assistant Professor of Philosophy.

Kerry McKenzie is a philosopher of science. Her focus is on the metaphysics of physics, with a particular focus on issues related to fundamentality, modality, and the methodology relationship between metaphysics and the sciences.  After completing a PhD at the University of Leeds, England, in 2012, she was a postdoc at the University of Calgary and then the University of Western Ontario before starting at UC San Diego in the fall of 2014.

The conversation with Dr. McKenzie will be moderated by Cathy Gere, Associate Professor of History.

This event is part of an ongoing series of Monday lunches made possible by a gift from Gay Lester. Lunch will be provided.  Please RSVP here.
